A 0-0 game-two road deadlock for JS Soaura was good enough for the Algerian club as they knocked out SC Gagnoa 2-0 on aggregate.
At N'Djamena, Chad:
A 0-0 game-two road deadlock with Elect-Sport was good enough for Ittihad Tanger as the Moroccan club won their series 1-0 on aggregate.
At Ismailia, Egypt:
Emad Hamdy (33') and Abdel Magdy (64') each scored once as Ismaily defeated visiting Le Messager Ngozi 2-1 in game two and eliminated the club from Burundi 3-1 on aggregate.
At Praslin, Seychelles:
Linda Mntambo (11'), Thamsanqa Gabuza (58'), and Abel Mabaso (63') each scored once as Orlando Pirates defeated Light Stars 3-1 on the road in game two, making it lights out for the club from Seychelles 8-2 on the road.
At Windhoek, Namibia:
African Stars defeated visiting Volcan Club 2-1 in game two and won their series with the club from Comoros by that very same score on aggregate.
At Cairo, Eygpt (due to ongoing security concerns in Libya):
Farouck Kabore scored twice (29', 90'+3) as Al-Ahly Benghazi overcame their series-opening defeat in Mauritania by blanking FC Nouadhibou 2-0 in game two and winning their hard-fought series 3-2 on aggregate.
At Pretoria, South Africa:
Jeremy Brockie (4'), Leandro Sirino (PK-18'), Hlompho Kekana (56'), Jose Ali Meza (61'), and Lyle Lakay (88') each scored once as Mamelodi Sundowns demolished visiting Leones Vegetarianos 5-1 in game one and knocked out the club from Equatorial Guinea 7-1 on aggregate.
At Blantyre, Malawi:
After Nyasa Big Bullets topped visiting Gor Mahia 1-0 in regulation of game two, squaring the series at 1-1 on aggregate, and with overtime dispensed with, Bernard Ondiek, Humphrey Mieno, Boniface Omondi, and Haron Shakava each converted a spot kick as the visitors from Kenya won the penalty-kick shootout 4-3.
At Makurdi, Nigeria:
Alimi Sikiru (10') and Yaya Kone (PK-68') each delivered a goal as Lobi Stars overcame their series-opening defeat by topping visiting UMS de Loum 2-0 in game two and eliminated the Cameroonian club 2-1 on aggregate.
At Kitwe, Zambia:
Kelvin Kampamba scored the only goal of the match (45'+1) as Nkana defeated visiting UD Songo 1-0 in game two and eliminated club from Mozambique 3-1 on aggregate.
At Bakau, The Gambia:
Ismail Belkacemi scored the only goal of the match in the second minute as CS Constantine defeated GAMTEL 1-0 on the road in game two and won their series by that same score on aggregate.
At Wakiso Town, Uganda:
Abraham Ndugwa scored the series-winning goal in the 46th minute as Vipers defeated visiting Al-Merrikh 1-0 in game two and, with the aggregate scored at 2-2, knocked out the Sudanese club on away goals.
At Bamako, Mali:
Stade Malien demolished visiting State Centrafricaine 4-0 in game two and took the series 4-1 on aggregate.
At Liberville, Gabon:
A 0-0 game-two road draw with AS Magnasport enabled ASEC Mimosas to win their series 1-0 on aggregate.
At Zanzibar City, Zanzibar:
Samawal Merghani (PK-80') and Idris Mbombo (90'+2) each scored once as Al-Hilal blanked JKU 2-0 on the road and won their series 6-0 on aggregate.
At Owando, Republic of the Congo:
Alou Bagayoko (PK-45'+2) and Guy Mbenza (90'+2) each scored once as AS Otoho overcame their road defeat from last week by blanking visiting 1st of August Club 2-0 in game two, and advanced on away goals with the aggregate score at 4-4.
At Zvishavane, Zimbabwe:
Rodwell Chinyengetere scored the series winner at 61 minutes as FC Platinum defeated visiting CNaPS Sport 1-0 in game two and won their series 2-1 on aggregate.
