UEFA Champions League, Group D: Dragons, Royal Blues Finish 1-2; Galatasaray To Europa League

Two games were contested on Tuesday as action in Group D of the UEFA Champions League concluded.

At Istanbul, Turkey:

Sergio Oliveira scored the winning goal in the 57th minute as FC Porto locked up top spot in Group D with their 3-2 road win over Galatasaray, who still qualified for Europa League knockout-stage play due to Lokomotiv Moscow's road defeat at Schalke.

At Gelsenkirchen, Germany:

Alessandro Schopf scored the only goal of the match in the opening minute of second-half stoppage time as FC Schalke defeated visiting Lokomotiv Moscow 1-0, ending the Russian club's European campaign.

1. FC Porto (GP: 6; GD: +9; PTS: 16)
2. FC Schalke 04 (GP: 6; GD: +2; PTS: 11)
3. Galatasaray (GP: 6; GD: -3; PTS: 4)
4. Lokomotiv Moscow (GP: 6; GD: -8; PTS: 3)

FC Porto and FC Schalke 04 advanced to the Champions League's knockout stage.

Galatasaray qualified for the knockout stage of the Europa League.
