UEFA Champions League, Group B: Spurs Reach CL Knockout Stage; Nerazzurri Eliminated, Will Play In Europa League

Action in Group B of the UEFA Champions League concluded on Tuesday with two games.

At Barcelona:

Lucas' equalizer in the 85th minute lifted Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 road draw with Barcelona, good enough for the English club to advance to the Champions League's knockout stage.

Ousmane Dembele scored for the hosts in the seventh minute.

At Milan, Italy:

Mauro Icardi's equalizer in the 73rd minute carried Inter Milan to a 1-1 home draw with PSV Eindhoven, not good enough for the Nerazzurri to avoid elimination from the Champions League as the hosts will now play in the Europa League's round of 32.

Hirving Lozano (that's him, center, celebrating with teammates) scored for the Dutch club in the 13th minute.

Final Group B Standings:

1. Barcelona (GP: 6; GD: +9; PTS: 14)
2. Tottenham Hotspur (GP: 6; GD: -1; PTS: 8)
3. Inter Milan (GP: 6; GD: -1; PTS: 8)
4. PSV Eindhoven (GP: 6; GD: -7; PTS: 2)

Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur (the latter because of more head-to-head away goals than Inter Milan [1-0]) advanced to the Champions League's knockout round.

Inter Milan will play in the Europa League's knockout stage.
