At Asuncion, Paraguay:
Adrian Martinez delivered a hat trick (31', 61', 77') as Club Libertad demolished The Strongest 5-1 at home in game two and eliminated the Bolivian club 6-2 on aggregate.
At Sao Paulo, Brazil:
A 0-0 game-two road stalemate was good enough for Talleres as the Argentinian club won their series with Sao Paulo FC 2-0 on aggregate.
At Caracas, Venezuela:
Despite being held to a 0-0 game-two home deadlock with Delfin, Caracas FC, with the aggregate score at 1-1, won their series with the Ecuadorian club on away goals.
