Four games were contested on Saturday as OFC Champions League group-stage play reached its' midway point.
GROUP A, with both games contested at Yoshida Stadium, Kone, New Caledonia:
In the opener, Andre Batick scored twice (26', 74') as Malampa Revivors gained a 3-3 draw with AS Tefana as both clubs exited the tournament.
Viritua Tiaiho scored twice (PK-23', 65') for the Tahitian club.
In the finale, Nigel Dabingyaba's equalizer in the 24th minute lifted Toti City to a 2-2 draw with hosts Hienghene Sport, enabling the club from Papua New Guinea to advance to the knockout stage.
Brice Dahite scored in the ninth minute for the hosts, who already had advanced to the quarterfinal round.
Final Group A Standings:
1. Hienghene Sport (GP: 3; GD: +6; PTS: 7)
2. Toti City (GP: 3; GD: +2; PTS: 5)
3. AS Tefana (GP: 3; GD: -1; PTS: 2)
4. Malampa Revivors (GP: 3; GD: -7; PTS: 1)
Hienghene Sport and Toti City advanced to the quarterfinal round.
GROUP B, with both contests played at Churchill Park, Lautoka, Fiji:
In the opener, Tutizama Tanito (61', 90'+5) and Rodney Suri (87', 88') each scored twice as Henderson Eels made mince meat out of Morobe Wawens 7-0 to grab a berth in the knockout stage.
In the finale, Cesar Castillo (12') and Manuarii Hauata (50') each scored once as Central Sport laid claim to a berth in the quarterfinal round by gaining a 2-2 draw with hosts Lautoka, knocking the Fijian club from the tournament.
Jacques Wamytan (OG-19') and Benjamin Totori (39') delivered the goals for the host club.
Final Group B Standings:
1. Central Sport (GP: 3; GD: +8; PTS: 7)
2. Henderson Eels (GP: 3; GD: +7; PTS: 6)
3. Lautoka (GP: 3; GD: +4; PTS: 4)
4. Morobe Wawens (GP: 3; GD: -19; PTS: 0)
Central Sport and Henderson Eels advanced to the quarterfinal round.
