In the opener, Raymond Gunemba produced a hat trick (41', 43', 44') in the course of three minutes in the first half as Toti City of Papua New Guinea doubled up Malampa Revivors 4-2, eliminating the Vanuatuan club from the tournament.
In the nightcap, Geordy Goni's goal in the fourth minute held up as hosts Hienghene Sport clinched a berth in the knockout stage after their 1-0 victory over Tahiti's AS Tefana.
