Europa League

The Europa League's Round of 32 continued on Thursday with 15 games.

At Plzen, Czech Republic:

Ludek Pernica scored twice (54', 83') as FC Viktoria Plzen topped visiting Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 in the opening match of their two-game series.  

Dani Olmo kept the Croatian club alive in the series with his goal in the 41st minute.

At Bruges, Belgium:

Wesley scored the winning goal in the 81st minute as Club Brugge defeated visiting FC Red Bull Salzburg 2-1 in their series-opening contest.

At Vienna, Austria:

Lautaro Martinez converted a penalty kick in the 39th minute for the only goal in Inter Milan's series-opening 1-0 road win over Rapid Vienna.

At Prague, Czech Republic:

Slavia Prague and visiting KRC Genk battled to a series-opening 0-0 stalemate.

At Krasnodar, Russia:

The series opener between FC Krasnodar and guests Bayer Leverkusen was played to a 0-0 deadlock.

At Zurich, Switzerland:

Jose Callejon scored the winning goal as Napoli took the opening match of their series with FC Zurich 3-1.

At Malmo, Sweden:

Olivier Giroud's goal in the 58th minute carried Chelsea to a series-opening 2-1 road triumph over Malmo FF.

At Kharkiv, Ukraine (due to ongoing war-like conditions in eastern Ukraine):

Martin Hinteregger (7') and Filip Kostic (50') each scored a goal for Eintracht Frankfurt as the German club gained a series-opening 2-2 road draw with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Marlos (PK-10') and Taison (67') each scored once for the Ukrainian club.

At Glasgow, Scotland:

Denis Cheryshev (42') and Ruben Sobrino (49') each scored once as Valencia blanked Celtic 2-0 on the road in game one.

At Rennes, France:

Giovani Lo Celso (32'), Sidnei (62'), and Diego Lainez (90') each scored once for Real Betis as the Spanish club gained a series-opening 3-3 road draw with Rennes.

Adrien Hunou (2'), Javi Garcia (OG-10'), and Hatem Ben Arfa (PK-45'+3) each scored once for the hosts.

At Piraeus, Greece:

Vitaliy Buyalskyi (27') and Benjamin Verbic (89') each tallied once as Dynamo Kiev gained a game-one 2-2 road draw with Olympiacos.

Ahmed Hassan (9') and Gil Dias (40') delivered the goal power for The Legend.

At Rome:

Wissam Ben Yedder scored the only goal of Sevilla's series-opening 1-0 road win over Lazio in the 22nd minute.

At Lisbon, Portugal:

Alfonso Pedraza's third-minute goal held up as Villarreal knocked off Sporting CP 1-0 on the road in their series opener.

At Barysaw, Belarus:

Stanislaw Drahun scored the game's lone goal in the 45th minute as FC BATE Borisov knocked off visiting Arsenal 1-0 in game one.

At Istanbul, Turkey:

Haris Seferovic scored the game winner at 64 minute as SL Benfica took the measure of Galatasaray on the road, 2-1 in their series-opening match.
