MLS: CityZens, Fire, Crew, Cincy, 'Caps Gain Saturday Wins

Seven games were on the Major League Soccer schedule for Saturday.

At New York:

Keaton Parks (40') and Alexandru Mitritu (43') each scored a goal three minutes apart late in the first half as New York City upended the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

C.J. Sapong scored twice (7', 29') scored twice as the Chicago Fire scored all their goals as they demolished visiting DC Dallas 4-0.

At Atlanta:

Gyasi Zardes (53'), Luis Diaz (60'), and Miles Robinson (OG-85') each scored once in the second half as the Columbus Crew knocked off Atlanta United 3-1 on the road.

The Five Stripes' Josef Martinez extended his MLS record for most consecutive games with a goal to 14 with his tally in the 19th minute.

At Montreal:

Allan Cruz's opening-minute goal proved good enough for FC Cincinnati as the guests crippled the Montreal Impact's playoff chances with their 1-0 victory.

At Orlando, Florida:

Nani scored twice (22', 54') and Dom Dwyer once (47') as Orlando City salvaged a 3-3 home draw with the New England Revolution.

Tesho Akindele (OG-15'), Cristian Penilla (35'), and Gustavo Bou (41') each scored once in the first half for the Revs.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Carlos Vela's equalizer in the 43rd minute as the Los Angeles Football Club gained a 1-1 road draw with the Philadelphia Union in a battle of playoff-bound clubs.

Kacper Przybylko scored for the Union in the third minute.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Fredy Montero scored the winning goal in the 90th minute as the Vancouver Whitecaps all but ended Houston's playoff chances by knocking off the visiting Dynamo 2-1.
