MLS: Red Bulls, DC Gather Sunday 2-0 Home Wins

Four games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Portland, Oregon:

The Portland Timbers and visiting Minnesota United battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Frisco, Texas:

Zdenek Ondrasek's equalizer in the 66th minute carried FC Dallas to a 1-1 home draw with New York City.

Valentine Castellanos scored in the opening minute for the guests.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Tom Barlow (32') and Daniel Royer (90'+6) each scored once as the New York Red Bulls blanked the visiting Philadelphia Union 2-0.

At Washington:

Lucas Rodriguez (14') and Frederic Brillant (54') each scored a goal as DC United shut out the visiting Seattle Sounders 2-0.
