John Thorrington (35') and Cuauhtemoc Blanco (83') each scored a goal as the Chicago Fire defeated the visiting New England Revolution 2-0 Saturday in the second game of their two-match Eastern Conference semifinal series in the Major League Soccer playoffs and won their the series 4-2 on aggregate.
Chicago will host Real Salt Lake in next Saturday's Eastern Conference final.
