UCL Group A: Bordeaux Win Group; Bayern Still In Hunt For Knockout Stage Berth

MatchDay # 5 in UEFA Champions League group stage concluded Wednesday with eight games, including two in Group A.

At Bordeaux, France:

Fernando (54', here he is, mobbed by happy teammates) and Marouane Chamakh (90'+4) each used his noggin in tallying second-half goals as Bordeaux clinched the Group A title with their 2-0 home win over Juventus.

At Munich, Germany:

Ivica Olic scored the only goal of the match at 62 minutes as Bayern Munich blanked visitng Maccabi Haifa 1-0 to stay alive in the race for a berth in the Champions League's knockout stage. That's Ivica celebrating with teammate Mario Gomez.
