Group-stage play in the OFC Champions League commenced on Saturday with two contests in Group A.
Both games were played at Stade Numa Daly in Moumea, New Caledonia.
In the opener, Cesar Castillo scored twice (38', 58') as Tahiti's Central Sport outslugged Papua New Guinea's Madang Fox 7-3.
In the nightcap, Yorick Hnautra scored the winning goal in the second minute of first-half stoppage time as Magenta, from the host nation, defeated Samoa's Lupe o le Soaga 2-1.
