MLS: Reds, Impact, Philly, Crew, Dynamo, Hoops, Quakes Garner Saturday Wins; Galaxy Battle Back From Two-Goal Deficit To Gain Home Draw With Fire

Eight games were on the Major League Soccer agenda for Saturday.

At Seattle:

Jozy Altidore's successfully-converted penalty kick in the 23rd minute provided all the scoring as Toronto FC avenged their MLS Cup Final defeat of last December by knocking off the Seattle Sounders 1-0 on the road.

At Washington:

Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla scored the only goal of the match in the 13th minute as the Montreal Impact knocked off DC United 1-0 on the road.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

C.J. Sapong delivered a second-half hat trick (74', 81', PK-85') as the Philadelphia Union snapped a 15-match regular-season winless streak by dominating the visiting New York Red Bulls 3-0.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Ola Kamara (13') and Federico Higuain (53') produced the scoring as the Columbus Crew blanked the visiting New England Revolution 2-0.

At Houston:

Mauro Manotas scored twice (51', 65') as the Houston Dynamo demolished visiting Orlando City 4-0.

At Sandy, Utah:

Maximiliano Urruti scored twice (PK-3', 90'+1) as FC Dallas dominated Real Salt Lake 3-0 on the road.

At Carson, California:

Daniel Steres (56') and Giovani dos Santos (65') each scored once in the second half as the Los Angeles Galaxy erased a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 home draw with the Chicago Fire. David Accam (PK-13') and Nemanja Nikolic (16') each scored a goal for the visitors.

At San Jose California:

Chris Wondolowski scored twice (31', 55') and assisted once (on Jahmir Hyka's tally in the eighth minute) as the San Jose Earthquakes dominated the visiting Portland Timbers 3-0.
