At La Coruna:
Visiting Espanyol and Deportivo La Coruna battled to a 0-0 draw.
At San Sebastian:
David Villa scored the only goal of the match as Valencia racked up a 1-0 road victory at Real Sociedad's expense.
At Madrid:
Manu's tally in the first minute held up as Getafe held off visiting Celta Vigo 1-0.
At Zaragoza:
Recreativo Huelva and homestanding Real Zaragoza played to a 0-0 deadlock.
At Valencia:
Another 0-0 stalemate, this one involving visiting Athletic Bilbao and Levante, two teams fighting to stay out of the relegation zone.
At Seville:
Real Betis settled for a 1-1 home deadlock with Racing Santander. For the visitors, Ezequiel Garay put them ahead briefly on his successful penalty kick (85') only to see Los Beticos tie it up two minutes later on Xisco's equalizer.
