Four games were contested Tuesday in the Scottish Premier League:
At Glasgow:
Darren O'Dea (39') and Aiden McGeady (90') provided the scoring punch for Celtic as the Bhoys blanked visiting Kilmarnock 2-0 to stretch their EPL lead to 17 points.
At Motherwell:
Rangers took over second place in the EPL standings following their 1-0 road win at Motherwell. Kris Boyd's successful penalty kick at 70' was the only goal of a match which was marred by a brawl and two red cards.
At Edinburgh:
Visiting Aberdeen dropped to third place in the EPL standings following their 0-0 road stalemate with Hibernian.
At Dunfermline:
Michal Pospisal scored the lone tally of Hearts 1-0 road win over hapless Dunfermline.
