NEC Nijmegen, powered by first-half goals courtesy of Brett Holman (22') and Romano Deeneboom (35'), held off visiting NAC Breda 2-1, snapping the visitors' three-game winning streak.

At Kerkrade:
Powered by tallies from Jan Paul Saeijs (22') and Andres Oper (86'), Roda JC Kerkrade stunned league-leading PSV Eindhoven at home, 2-0.
At Rotterdam:
Feyenoord Rotterdam snapped out of their (for the time being) post-UEFA Cup banishment funk with a 3-1 victory at home over cellar-dwelling RKC Waalwijk. Jonathan De Guzman (33'), Luis Andre Bahia (35'), and Angelo Charisteas (85') provided the hosts with the goals.
At Groningen:
After trailing 2-0 at halftime, Ajax Amsterdam staged a roaring comback to defeat hosts FC Groningen 3-2. Jaap Stam (52'), Johnny Heitinga (82'), and Leonardo Santiago (90') provided the goals for the visitors.
At Enschede:
With goals from Jeroen Heubach (15'), Sharbel Touma (57'), and Ismail Aissati (89'), Twente Enschede, in search of a shot at a UEFA Champions League berth, handled visting---and relegation-threatened---ADO Den Haag 3-1.
