At Madrid:
Pablo Ibanez scored the equalizer at 76 minutes to enable Atletico Madrid to gain a 1-1 home draw with Racing Santander. Nikola Zigic had put Racing ahead at 74 minutes.
At Villarreal:
Marcos Garcia scored the only goal (68') of Villarreal's 1-0 home shocker over Real Madrid.

At Barcelona:
Thanks to goals from Javier Saviola (34'), Ronaldinho (PK-78'), and Ludovic Giuly (86') powered FC Barcelona to a 3-1 home triumph over Celta Vigo. The win placed Barca at the top of the Premiera Liga standings.
At Madrid:
Daniel Guiza's first-half double (28', 45') lifted Getafe to a 2-0 victory over visiting Osasuna.
At San Sebastian:
Andoni Iraola tallied twice (12', 69') to lead Athlic Bilbao to a 2-0 road triumph over relegation-threatened--and Basque rivals--Real Sociedad in the Basque derby.
At Tarragona:
Goals from Javier Portillo (9'), Alejandro Campano (PK-19'), Antonio Pinilla (26'), all in the first half lifted basement-occupying Gimnastic de Tarragona to a 4-0 fistbeating of visiting Espanyol, only their third win of the league season.
At Zaragoza:
Diego Milito's successful penalty kick at 79 minutes permitted Real Zaragoza to salvage a 1-1 home deadlock with Deportivo La Coruna.
At Valencia:
Frederic Kanoute (35') , Alexander Kerzhakov (55') , and Alfaro (76') powered FC Sevilla to a 4-2 doubling of hosts Levante.
At Palma:
First-half scores from Sergio Ballesteros (39') and Jose Carlos Nunes (45') enabled Mallorca to rack up a 2-1 home win over Recreativo Huelva.
At Seville:
Robert's double (15', PK-68') lifted Real Betis to a 2-1 come-from-behind home win over Valencia.
