DeRo's Hat Trick Helps TFC Crush Impact On Road To Win Canadian Title and Gain CONCACAF Champions League Berth

The Nutrilite Canadian Championship concluded on Thursday.

At Montreal:

Dwayne De Rosario's natural hat trick (29', 39', 49') helped Toronto FC deliver a 5-1 fistbeating on the road to the Montreal Impact to win the Canadian Championship title (better goal differential vis-a-viv Vancouver, +5 to +4) and gain a place in the preliminary round of the 2009-10 CONCACAF Champions League. They will take on the Puerto Rico Islanders (USL-1) in a two-match home-and-away set in July for the right to advance to the group stage.
