Pablo Vitti (28') and Dwayne De Rosario (59') each contributed a goal as Toronto FC blanked the visiting New York Red Bulls 2-0.
At Commerce City, Colorado:
A goal from Omar Cummings at 84 minutes enabled the Colorado Rapids to salvage a 1-1 home draw with FC Dallas. The Hoops got a goal from David Ferreira at 37 minutes.
