Quakes Double Up Galaxy; Another Sounders Draw; Hoops Come Back To Stun Crew; Houston Unbeaten Streak Now At 11; Rapids Smother DCU

At Oakland, California:

Goals from Pablo Campos (PK-6') and Ryan Johnson (54') enabled the San Jose Earthquakes to hold off the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy for a 2-1 win.

At East Rutherford, New Jersey:

Fredy Montero's goal at 45 minutes lifted Seattle Sounders FC to a 1-1 road draw with the New York Red Bulls, whose goal came from Juan Pablo Angel at 40 minutes.

At Frisco, Texas:

Kenny Cooper's successful penalty kick (87') enabled FC Dallas to come from behind and knock off the visiting Columbus Crew 2-1. Eric Avila scored the Hoops' other tally at 80 minutes.

At Houston:

Brian Ching's goal at 90 minutes lifted the Houston Dynamo to a 1-1 home stalemate with Real Salt Lake, stretching the hosts' unbeaten streak to 11 games.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Omar Cummings doubled (11', 45') and Colin Clark added another tally (49') as the Colorado Rapids overpowered visiting DC United 3-0.
