CONCACAF Champions League: Road Win For Dynamo On Two-Draw Wednesday

CONCACAF Champions League group-stage play continued on Wednesday with three games.

Group Three:

At San Salvador, El Salvador:

Brian Ching (12'), Cam Weaver (19') , and Je-Vaughn Watson (60') each provided a goal as the Houston Dynamo started group-stage play with a 3-1 road win over CD FAS.

GROUP THREE STANDINGS:

1. CD Olimpia (GP: 1; GD: +3; PTS: 3)
2. Houston Dynamo (GP: 1; GD: +2; PTS: 3)
3. CD FAS (GP: 2; GD: -5; PTS: 0)

Group Four:

At Couva, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago:

The match between Caledonia AIA and visiting CD Marathon from Honduras finished in a 0-0 stalemate.

GROUP FOUR STANDINGS:

1. Seattle Sounders (GP: 1; GD: +2; PTS: 3)
2. CD Marathon (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)

Group Six:

At Anajuela, Costa Rica:

Juis Valle's goal at the death (90'+1) enabled LD Alajuelense to salvage a 2-2 home draw with Tigres.  Diego Calvo also scored for the hosts (22').  Alonso Zamora (41') and Manuel Viniegra (58') each scored a goal for the visiting Mexican club.
