Robin Van Persie scored his first goal for his new team in the tenth minute while Shinji Kagawa (25') and Rafael (41') also scored a goal each as Manchester United held off visiting Fulham 3-2 in Saturday English Premier League action. The Red Devils lost Wayne Rooney who suffered an ugly gash on his right leg and who is expected to be out of action for four weeks.
