After Atletico Tucuman downed visiting Independiente Medellin 1-0 in regulation of game two of their Copa Libertadores playoff-round series, thus squaring the two-match set at 1-1 on aggregate, and with overtime dispensed with, Andres Ricaurte, Andres Cadavid, Leonardo Castro, and Adrian Arregui converted their spot kicks as the visiting Colombian club won the penalty-kick shootout 4-2 to advance to the group stage.
