Two games were played at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea as action in Group A of the OFC Champions League concluded.
In the opener, Martin Bueno scored twice (11', 72') as Eastern Suburbs secured top spot in the group by demolishing Hienghene Sport 4-0, ending the New Caledonian club's one-year reign as Oceania's club champions.
In the sunset, Ati Kepo scored twice as the host club Hekari United held off ABM Galaxy 2-1.
Due to inferior goal differential though, Hekari United were still eliminated while Galaxy advanced to the quarterfinals.

1. Eastern Suburbs (GP: 3; GD: +5; PTS: 7)
2. ABM Galaxy (GP: 3; GD: +2; PTS: 4)
3. Hekari United (GP: 3; GD: 0; PTS: 4)

Eastern Suburbs and ABM Galaxy advanced to the quarterfinal round.
