Copa Libertadores Qualifying

The second round of Copa Libertadores qualifying continued on Wednesday with four games.

At Lima, Peru:

Oscar Ruiz scored the equalizer in the 65th minute to carry Cerro Porteno to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Universitario.

Jonathan Dos Santos scored for the hosts at 52 minutes.

At Maldonado, Uruguay:

Jonathan Benitez's equalizer in the 71st minute lifted Palestino to a game-one 1-1 road deadlock with Cerro Largo.

Enzo Borges scored for the Uruguayan club in the 29th minute.

At La Paz, Bolivia:

Jair Reinoso (45'+1) and Willie Hortencio Barbosa (69') each scored once as The Strongest blanked Atletico Tucuman 2-0 at home in their series-opening match.

At Asuncion, Paraguay:

Jorge Morel scored the only goal of the match in the seventh minute as Club Guarani defeated visiting Corinthians 1-0 in their series opener.
