Europa League: Group-Stage Play Opens With Thursday Wins For Rangers, Rossoneri, Spurs, Benfica, Roma, Gunners, Sociedad, Leverkusen, Foxes, Mastiffs, Yellow Submarine, AZ, Braga, Maccabi Tel Aviv

 Group-stage play in the Europa League commenced with 24 games on Thursday.


GROUP A:


At Bern, Switzerland:


Marash Kumbulla scored the game winner in the 74th minute as AS Roma knocked off BSC Young Boys 2-1 on the road.


At Sofia, Bulgaria:


Mario Rondon (53') and Ciprian Deac (PK-74') each scored a goal as CFR Cluj blanked CSKA Sofia 2-0 on the road.
