MLS: Wednesday Wins For Revs, Cincy, Nashville, Hoops, RSL, Caps, Quakes; Philly Gains Draw With DC United To Clinch Playoff Berth

Adam Buksa scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute as the New England Revolution held off the "hosts" Montreal Impact 3-2.


At Cincinnati:

Nick Hagglund scored the game winner at 49 minutes as FC Cincinnati picked up their first-ever Buckeye Derby victory over the Columbus Crew, 2-1 at home.


At Orlando, Florida:

Keaton Parks' equalizer in the 43rd minute carried New York City to a 1-1 road draw with Orlando City.

Chris Mueller scored for the Lions in the 18th minute.


At East Hartford, Connecticut (due to COVID-19-related travel on quarantine restrictions):

Caden Clark's game-tying goal in the 77th minute lifted the New York Red Bulls to a 1-1 road draw with Toronto FC.


Alejandro Pozuelo converted a penalty kick in the 23rd minute for the Reds.


At Washington:

Anthony Fontana (49') and Mark McKenzie (87') each scored once as the Philadelphia Union clinched a playoff berth following their 2-2 road draw with DC United.

Jake Mulraney's goal on the 83rd minute lifted Atlanta United to a 1-1 road draw with Inter Miami.

Brek Shea scored for the Herons in the 80th minute.


At Frisco, Texas:

Ryan Hollingshead scored the only goal in FC Dallas' 1-0 home victory over Sporting Kansas City.


At Sandy, Utah:

Douglas Martinez (11') and Damir Kreilach (26') each scored once as Real Salt Lake held off the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1 to snap their three-game losing skid (while ending the guests' five-match winning run).


At Portland Oregon (due to COVID-19-related travel on quarantine restrictions):

Lucas Cavallini scored twice (30', 59') as the Vancouver Whitecaps knocked off the visiting Los Angeles Football Club 2-1.

At Carson, California:

Nick Lima scored twice (44', 90'+3) as the San Jose Earthquakes picked up their fourth win in their last five games by demolishing the Los Angeles Galaxy 4-0 on the road.
