MLS: Lions Clinch First-Ever Playoff Berth After Draw With Red Bulls In Jersey; Sunday Wins For Crew (Who Also Clinch Playoff Berth), DC United, Reds, Galaxy

 Eight games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.


At Columbus, Ohio:


Artur (26'), Pedro Santos (49'), and Gyasi Zardes (90'+3) each scored once as the Columbus Crew locked up a berth in the MLS Cup Playoffs following their 3-1 home victory over New York City.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Brian White's equalizer at the death (90'+5) lifted the New York Red Bulls to a 1-1 home draw with Orlando City.


Nani converted a penalty kick in the 56th minute for the Lions, who clinched an MLS Cup Playoff berth for the first time in their six-year history while stretching their unbeaten run to 12 games.


At Cincinnati:


Chris Odoi-Atsem scored the winning goal in the 78th minute as DC United kept their flickering playoff chances alive after their 2-1 road win over FC Cincinnati.


At East Hartford, Connecticut (due to COVID-19-induced travel and quarantine restrictions):


Pablo Piatti scored the lone goal of the match in the 89th minute as Toronto FC stretched their unbeaten run to nine games with their 1-0 victory over visiting Atlanta United.


At St. Paul, Minnesota:


Memo Rodriguez (59') and Niko Hansen (83') each scored once as the Houston Dynamo came back from two-goals down to gain a 2-2 road draw with Minnesota United.


Ethan Finlay scored both of the Loons' goals (11', 30').


At Portland, Oregon:


Christian Torres' late equalizer (90'+3) enabled the Los Angeles Football Club to gain a 1-1 draw on the road with the Portland Timbers.


Jeremy Ebobisse scored in the 47th minute for the Timbers.


At Carson, California:


Kai Koreniuk scored the game's lone goal in the first minute of second-half stoppage time as the Los Angeles Galaxy snapped a six-game losing streak by knocking off the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0.


At San Jose, California:


The match between the San Jose Earthquakes and visiting Seattle Sounders ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
