MLS: Sunday Wins For Reds (Who Clinch Playoff Berth), Timbers, Caps, LAFC, Revs, Fire, SKC, Philly

Seven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday with all kickoff times Pacific.


At New York:


Teal Bunbury (3') and Lee Nguyen (PK-80') each scored once as the New England Revolution held off New York City 2-1 on the road.


At Los Angeles:


Danny Musovski scored twice (15', 84') as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the visiting Seattle Sounders 3-1.


At Chicago:


C.J. Sapong (3') and Boris Sekulic (45'+1) provided the scoring as the Chicago Fire held off visiting DC United 2-1.


At Cincinnati:


Patrick Mullins' goal in the 29th minute carried Toronto FC to a 1-0 road win over FC Cincinnati as the Reds became the first club to clinch a berth in the forthcoming MLS Cup Playoffs.


At Kansas City, Kansas:


Erik Hurtado scored the winning goal in the 79th minute as Sporting Kansas City defeated visiting Nashville SC 2-1.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


Jamiro Monteiro (39') and Sergio Santos (49') each scored once as the Philadelphia Union held off the visiting Montreal Impact 2-1.


At Portland, Oregon:


Jaroslaw Niezgoda scored twice (46', 52') as the Portland Timbers dominated the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 3-0.
