MLS: Sounders, Rapids, Galaxy Pick Up Wins; Three 1-1 Draws; Revs, TFC Eliminated From Playoff Contention

Six games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.


At Houston:


Dominic Oduro's 42nd-minute equalizer lifted the Chicago Fire to a 1-1 road draw with the Houston Dynamo.  Colin Clark scored at 32 minutes for the hosts.


At Toronto:


Thierry Henry's equalizer at 88 minutes lifted the New York Red Bulls to a 1-1 road draw with Toronto FC.  Danny Koevermans scored in the 50th minute for the Reds, who were officially eliminated from playoff contention.  TFC, in five seasons, still have never qualified for postseason play.


At Commerce City, Colorado:


Drew Moor scored the lone goal of the match in the 25th minute as the Colorado Rapids knocked off visiting FC Dallas 1-0.


At Foxborough, Massachusetts:


Fredy Montero scored twice (35', 47') as the Seattle Sounders racked up their fourth straight road win, 2-1 over the New England Revolution, eliminating the hosts from postseason contention.


At Carson, California:


Nat Borchers' own goal in the 72nd minute, along with Chad Barrett's earlier tally (58') enabled the Los Angeles Galaxy to come from behind and defeat visiting Real Salt Lake 2-1.


At Santa Clara, California:


Teal Bunbury's 86-minute equalizer cancelled out Chris Wondolowski's tally (85') as Sporting Kansas City came from behind to gain a 1-1 road draw with the San Jose Earthquakes.
