AFC Champions League; Tianjin Quanjian, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Al-Duhail, Esteghlal Advance To Quarterfinals

The AFC Champions League's Round of 16 continued on Tuesday with four games.

WEST REGION:

At Tehran, Iran:

Mame Thiam produced a natural hat trick (PK-11', 41', 64') as Esteghlal overturned their series-opening road defeat and upended visiting Zob Ahan 3-1 in game two of their all-Iranian series and won the series 3-2 on aggregate.

At Doha, Qatar:

Youssef El-Arabi scored twice (30', PK-86') as Al-Duhail dominated visiting Al-Ain 4-1 in game two and won their series 8-3 on aggregate.


EAST REGION:

At Guangzhou, China:

Alexandre Pato (19') and Wang Jie (52') each scored once as Tianjin Quanjian gained a 2-2 game-two road draw with Guangzhou Evergande and, with the aggregate score at 4-4, won their all-Chinese series on away goals.

At Jeonju, South Korea:

Ricardo Lopes (18') and Lee Jae-sung (84') each scored once as Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors overcame their series-opening road defeat with a 2-0 game-two home win over Buriram United and took their two-match series 4-3 on aggregate.
