In Sunday's opening contest of the OFC Champions League Final, Jack-Henry Sinclair scored twice (57', 71') as Team Wellington scored five goals in the second half to complete their 6-0 home annihilation of Lautoka FC.
The series will conclude next Sunday at Lautoka, Fiji.
The winner of this series will play the opening match in December's FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates against the championship club from the host country's top flight.
