MLS: SKC, Crew, Sounders, Fire, LAFC Grab Wednesday Wins

Five games were played on Wednesday in Major League Soccer.

At Atlanta:

Daniel Salloi (67') and Gerso Fernandes (87') each scored once as Sporting Kansas City knocked off Atlanta United 2-0 on the road.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Gyasi Zardes scored the only goal of the match in the 53rd minute as the Columbus Crew defeated the visiting Philadelphia Union 1-0.

At Toronto:

Handwalla Bwana scored the winning goal in the 54th minute as the Seattle Sounders avenged their MLS Cup Final defeat from last December by knocking off Toronto FC 2-1 on the road.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Kevin Ellis scored the long goal of the match in the 89th minute as the Chicago Fire defeated the visiting Montreal Impact 1-0.

At Los Angeles:

Eduard Atuesta (31') and Mark-Anthony Kaye (37') each scored once as the Los Angeles Football Club blanked visiting Minnesota United 2-0.
