At Minneapolis:
Magnus Eriksson (2'), Danny Hoesen (69'), and Chris Wondolowski (PK-76') each scored once as the San Jose Earthquakes snapped their seven-game winless streak by defeating Minnesota United 3-1 on the road.
At Montreal:
Cory Burke (43') and Haris Medunjanin (88') each scored once as the Philadelphia Union blanked the Montreal Impact 2-0 on the road.
At Frisco, Texas:
Mauro Diaz assisted on all three goals----both of Roland Lamah's (44', 52') as well as Maxi Urruti's tally (28') as FC Dallas held off the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 3-2.
At Columbus, Ohio:
Gyasi Zardes scored twice (50', 70') as the Columbus Crew dominated the visiting Chicago Fire 3-0.
At Foxborough, Massachusetts:
Cristian Penilla scored twice (4', 7') and Team Bunbury once (46') as the New England Revolution held off visiting Toronto FC 3-2.
At Commerce City, Colorado:
Daniel Royer (5') and Derrick Etienne, Jr. (76') each delivered a goal as the New York Red Bulls held off the Colorado Rapids 2-1 on the road.
At Sandy, Utah:
Jefferson Savarino scored the winning goal in the 56th minute as Real Salt Lake, with veteran goalkeeper Nick Rimando picking up his 200th career MLS victory, held off visiting DC United 3-2.
