Busy Sunday in Italia Serie A

It was a busy Sunday in Italy's top soccer (calcio) league:

At Bergamo:
Cristian Doni scored twice (PKs 35' and 85') and Riccardo Zampagna (89') once as Atalanta came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat visiting Sampdoria 3-2. Fabio Quagliarella (4', 11') tallied twice for the visitors.

At Parma:
By scoring the only goal of the match (10'), Igor Budan provided all the scoring as Parma racked up their first league win of the season, 1-0 over Ascoli.

At Lecce:
Giuseppe Colucci scored twice (35', 51') and Gionatha Spinesi once(44') as Catania Calcio defeated visiting Lazio 3-1.

At Rome:
Francesco Totti's 66th-minute equalizer lifted AS Roma to a 1-1 home draw with Chievo Verona.

At Florence:
With three different goal scorers Fiorentina marched to an easy 3-0 home whitewashing of Reggina.

At Udine:
Udinese and visiting Inter Milan battled to a 0-0 stalemate. Inter remains unbeaten for the league season.

At Leghorn:
Visiting AC Siena and Livorno battled to a 0-0 deadlock. The visitors ended up with the same points they entered the match with because they were penalized one point this past week for missing a tax deadline. Ouch!

At Milan:
Visiting Palermo joined Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A standings, thanks to a 2-0 road victory over AC Milan. Mark Bresciano and Calvalho de Olivera Amauri provided the scoring for the victors.
