Raul and Ruud Lead Real Madrid Past Barca

In Sunday action in Spain's La Liga:

At Madrid:
Real Madrid, thanks to goals from Raul (3') and Ruud van Nistelrooy (51') defeated visiting FC Barcelona 2-0.

At Huelva:
Getafe held off Recreativo Huelva for a 2-1 road win. The hosts' Francisco Javi Guererro missed a 90th-minute penalty kick that would have tied the game. Manu del Moral scored the game winner in the 71st minute.

At Barcelona:
Raul Tamudo scored on a successful penalty kick in the 90th minute ( to go with his earlier tally in the 45th minute) to lift homestanding Espanyol to a 2-2 draw with Racing Santander.

At Valencia:
David Villa's tally in the 16th minute was the only score in Valencia's 1-0 home triumph against Osasuna.

At Seville:
Frederic Kanoute scored twice (22', 27') to lift FC Sevilla to a 2-1 home win over Gimnastic de Tarragona.

At Bilbao:
Fernando Baiano's goal in the 6th minute held up as Celta Vigo picked up a 1-0 raod win at Athletic Bilbao's expense.

At Mallorca:
Visiting Real Sociedad and RCD Mallorca battled to a 0-0 deadlock. Mallorca's Toni Prats and Real Sociedad's Claudio Bravo emerged from the match with clean sheets.
