Sunday Action In The Netherlands

Five games were played Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie:

At Alkmaar:
With three different goal scorers, PSV Eindhoven defeated homestanding AZ Alkmaar 3-1 to move up to second place in the Eredivisie standings.

At Heerenveen:
Thanks to Afonso Alves' hat trick (14', 74', 79') SC Heerenveen doubled up FC Groningen 4-2 at home.

At Utrecht:
Ricky Kruys (24') and Cedric van der Gun (37') provided the scoring as FC Ultrecht picked up a 2-0 home win over winless ADO Den Haag.

At Rotterdam:
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (12', 38') and Kenneth Perez (PK-50',62') each scored twice as visiting Ajax Amsterdam walloped Feyenoord Rotterdam 4-0.

At Nijmegen:
A second-half stoppage time goal from Youssef El Akchaoui lifted NEC Nijmegen to a 1-0 home win over Vitesse Arnhem.
