MLS: Late Explosion Glide 10-Man Hoops Past Goats; Stoppage-Time Equalizer Gains Road Draw In Portland For 10-Man RSL

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Wednesday.

At Carson, California:

Blas Perez (71'), David Ferreira (86'), and Ramon Nunez (90') each scored a second-half goal as FC Dallas, despite losing Jackson to a red-card ejection in the 81st minute,  came from behind to top hosts Chivas USA 3-1, ending their eleven-match MLS winless streak.

At Portland, Oregon:

Cole Grossman's stoppage-time equalizer (90'+3) carried Real Salt Lake (who lost Yordany Alvarez to a red-card ejection in the 79th minute) to a 3-3 road draw with the Portland Timbers.  RSL's other goals came from Nat Borchers (38') and Javier Morales (PK-43').  The Timbers were represented on the scoreboard by Rodney Wallace (24'), Diego Valeri (PK-57'), and Kalif Alhassan (86').
