Group-stage play in the CONCACAF Champions League continued on Wednesday with two games.

At Pachuca, Mexico:

Erick Gutierrez scored twice (22', 63') as Pachuca dominated visiting Real Espana 4-1.

Ariel Rodriguez delivered the equalizer in the 65th minute as Deportivo Saprissa gained a 1-1 road draw with Real Esteli.  Rodrigo Valiente scored for the Nicaraguan club in the tenth minute.
