MLS: Lloyd Sam's Late Tally Lifts Red Bulls Past DCU; Galaxy Erase Two-Goal Deficit To Gain Draw In Montreal; 'Caps End Scoring Drought In Victory Over Quakes

Three games dotted the Wednesday Major League Soccer schedule.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Lloyd Sam scored the only goal of the match in the 90th minute as the New York Red Bulls knocked off visiting DC United (reduced to ten men in the 32nd minute following Fabian Espindola's red-card ejection) 1-0.

At Montreal:

Gyasi Zardes (59') and Alan Gordon (64') each scored a second-half goal as the Los Angeles Galaxy battled back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 road draw with the Montreal Impact.  Marco Di Vaio (28') and Ignacio Piatti (43') delivered the Impact's goals in the first half.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Pedro Morales (PK-39') and Kendall Watson (56') provided the scoring as the Vancouver Whitecaps whitewashed the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.
