MLS: Revs, Hoops Grab Wins On Four-Draw Saturday

Six games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Pedro Ribeiro (41') and Sebastien Le Toux (PK-90'+2) each scored a goal as the Philadelphia Union battled back from a two-goal deficit to salvage a 2-2 home draw with the New York Red Bulls.  Peguy Luyindula (PK-37') and Thierry Henry (40') each scored once during a three-minute span for the guests.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Kelyn Rowe (23') and Lee Nguyen (25') each delivered a goal during a two-minute span in the first half as the New England Revolution overcame an early deficit and upended the visiting Montreal Impact 2-1.

At Houston:

Will Trapp (48') and Ethan Finlay (54') each scored a goal during a six-minute second-half span to lift the Columbus Crew from a two-goal deficit to a 2-2 road draw with the Houston Dynamo.  Aaron Schoenfeld (OG-12') and Giles Barnes (38') each scored once for the hosts.

At Frisco, Texas:

Blas Perez scored twice (21', 78') as FC Dallas defeated the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Dwayne De Rosario's equalizer in the 89th minute lifted Toronto FC to a 1-1 road draw with the Chicago Fire, whose goal came in the 11th minute courtesy of Lovel Palmer.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Gaston Fernandez delivered the equalizer in the 76th minute to carry the Portland Timbers to a 2-2 road deadlock with the Colorado Rapids, ending the hosts' seven-match losing streak.  Diego Valeri opened the scoring for the Timbers in the 43rd minute while Dillon Powers (PK-48') and Deshorn Brown (66') each tallied once for the Rapids.
