Copa Libertadores

Action in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores continued on Thursday with three games.

GROUP FOUR:

At Lima, Peru:

An equalizer from Alberto Junior Rodriguez in the 74th minute enabled Sporting Cristal to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Penarol.  Luis Aguiar scored for the Uruguayan club in the 39th minute.



GROUP FIVE:

At Sangolqui, Ecuador:

Jefferson Orejuela's equalizer in the 66th minute lifted Independiente del Valle to a 1-1 home draw with Colo-Colo.  Esteban Paredes scored in the 62nd minute for the Chilean club.

Group Five Standings:

1. Atletico Mineiro (GP: 1; GD: +1; PTS: 3)
2. Colo-Colo (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
3. Independiente del Valle (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
4. FBC Melgar (GP: 1; GD: -1; PTS: 0)

NOTE:  Colo-Colo gained a 1-1 road draw with Independiente del Valle on Thursday.

GROUP SEVEN:

At Mexico City:

Gerardo Alcoba scored the winning goal in the 69th minute as Pumas doubled up visiting Club Sport Emelec 4-2.
