At Avellaneda, Argentina:

Roger Martinez scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 27th minute as Racing Club de Avellaneda dominated visiting Club Bolivar 4-1.

At Palmira, Colombia:

Deportivo Cali and visiting Boca Juniors battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Belo Horizonte, Brazil:

Lucas Pratto's goal in the third minute held up as Atletico Mineiro defeated visiting Independiente del Valle 1-0.
