Victor Namo (3', 55') and Bello Musa Kofarmata (86') provided the goals that carried Kano Pillars FC to a 3-2 home win over ZESCO United FC to lock up a berth in the semifinal round. The loss eliminated the Zambian club from tournament contention and clinched a semifinal berth as well for Al-Hilal.
