At Santa Clara, California:
Conor Casey's penalty kick in second-half stoppage time (90'+4) lifted the Colorado Rapids to a 1-1 road stalemate with the San Jose Earthquakes. Ryan Johnson put the Quakes on the board at 8 minutes.
