UCL Group E: Fiorentino And Lyon Post Shutout Wins

MatchDay #2 in UEFA Champions League group stage play commenced with eight games on Tuesday, including two in Group E.

At Florence, Itlay:

Stevan Jovetic scored both goals (28', 37', he's shown celebrating his second tally) as Fiorentina blanked visiting Liverpool 2-0.

At Budapest, Hungary:

Four different goal scorers---Kim Kallstrom (3', he's seen here celebrating with teammates), Miralem Pjanic (13'), Sidney Govou (24'), and Bafetimbi Gomis (51')---each scored once as visiting Lyon stomped on Debreceni VSC 4-0. The Hungarian club played this match at Budapest because their home stadium did not meet UEFA standards for European competition.
