TFC Get Home Win; Fire and RSL Draw In Utah; Sounders Repeat Open Cup Trimph Against DCU; Hoops Double Up Galaxy; Wizards Blank Bulls

Five matches were contested Saturday in Major League Soccer.

At Toronto:

Goals from Dwayne De Rosario (19'), O'Brian White (71'), and Nana Attakora-Gyan (74') lifted Toronto FC to a 3-2 home win over the Colorado Rapids.

At East Rutherford, New Jersey:

Josh Wolff's goal at 10 minutes held up as the Kansas City Wizards kept their faint playoff hopes alive, snapping the New York Red Bulls' winning streak, 1-0 on the road. It was the Wizards' first win at Giants Stadium since beating the then New York/New Jersey MetroStars in 2000. KC goalkeeper Kevin Hartman racked up his 83rd career shutout and 145th career win, both MLS career records.

At Washington:

Seattle Sounders FC followed up their recent US Open Cup triumph in the nation's capital with another 2-1 road win over DC United, this time in league play with both clubs jockeying for playoff position. The Sounders got goals this time from Steve Zakuani (5') and Fredy Montero (84').

At Sandy, Utah:

Jamison Olave's 72nd-minute equalizer enabled Real Salt Lake to salvage a 1-1 home deadlock with the Chicago Fire, whose goal came from Chris Rolfe at 44 minutes.

At Carson, California:

Jeff Cunningham's double (25', 86') was just part of an offensive barrage that saw visiting FC Dallas double up the Los Angleles Galaxy 6-3.
