Copa Libertadores: 2-2 Draw In Asuncion; Universidad Catolica Blanks Caracas On Road

Three games were played in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores on Tuesday.


Group One:


At Asuncion, Paraguay:


Nicolas Pavlovich scored twice (15', 90'+4) as Club Libertad settled for a 2-2 home draw with Once Caldas.  Wason Renteria scored both goals for the Colombian club (11', 17').


At San Luis Potosi, Mexico:


Michael Arroyo scored twice (14', 75') as San Luis defeated visiting Universidad San Martin 3-1.


GROUP ONE STANDINGS:

2. Universidad San Martin (GP: 5; GD: -2; PTS: 6)

Group Four:


At Caracas, Venezuela:


Jose Villanueva (49') and Lucas Pratto (85') each scored once as Universidad Catolica defeated Caracas FC 2-0 on the road.
