UCL: Barca (Leo Pulls Through Again), Shakhtar Advance To Quarterfinals

Two return matches took place on Tuesday as the second half of the UEFA Champions League's Round of 16 commenced.


At Barcelona:





Lionel Messi scored twice (45'+3, PK-71', that's him celebrating with Andres Iniesta and Dani Alves) as Barcelona took game two of their series with Arsenal 3-1 at home and won the two-game series 4-3 on aggregate.


At Donetsk, Ukraine:





Shakhtar Donetsk manhandled visiting AS Roma 3-0 in their return match to take their two-game series 5-2 on aggregate.  Goal scorers Tomas Hubschman (18', that's him [left] celebrating), Willian (58'), and Eduardo (87') helped carried the hosts to their first ever appearance in the Champions League's quarterfinal round.
