Following a scoreless regulation on Sunday, and trailing 2-0 after the first overtime period, Henrique (117') and Eric Paartalu (120') scored in the second overtime period for the Brisbane Roar to force the penalty kick shootout of their Hyundai A-League Grand Final match with the Central Coast Mariners.
In the shootout, Ivan Franjic, Erik Paartalu, Matt McKay, and , with the winning shot, Henrique all converted their penalty kicks, while goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos saved attempts by the Mariners' Daniel McBreen and Predrag Bojic as the Roar took the shootout 4-2 and won their first Grand Final title.
